We have housemaid from Uganda where plantains are a staple. She tells us that they eat them ripe; I am unable to purchase ripe plantains from Sharbatly - they are all green. Would this option be possible?
Hello Glenda
thank you for your question. The plantains are very much similar to bananas .One method that works to speed up the ripening process of plantains is to wrap them loosely in brown paper bags, and store them in room temperature
Great , I cannot find them anywhere else
This is the first time I tried it
